Scentuelle is uniquely designed to help stimulate the libido - Many women experience a lack of desire at some point during their lives; whether it's caused by external factors such as stress and fatigue, or by physical changes, like the menopause. It is not unusual and there are things they can do to help.
Scentuelle is unique in helping women to stimulate their libido. Each patch is impregnated with a special scent which can help trigger sexual feelings. Without desire you may find sex dissatisfying or even shy away from it altogether. For most women sexual response begins in the mind. So it follows that if you have a deficiency or absence of sexual thoughts and fantasies, then your body is unlikely to want to behave - or respond - in a sexual way.
Each Scentuelle pack contains 30 patches.

Scentuelle Sex Patches work to increase libido and sexual feelings.
Does smell really affect my libido? To understand how a scent can affect your desire it is first important to understand how we recognise different smells and how our brain reacts to them. Our nose merely acts as a vehicle for channelling the odours to the right place. This is to the smell receptors located on the edge of our brains at the top of the nose. These receptors go straight into our limbic system - the part of the brain that deals with feelings of happiness and pleasure (including our sex drive). So, in effect, our nose gives us a direct route into our pleasure centre. Certain smell molecules cause the brain to behave in certain ways. For example, dopamine molecules tell it to release happy hormones that make us feel good - and even aroused. The unique combination of aromas in Scentuelle have been specifically chosen to create smell molecules that mimic the size, shape and electrical charge of dopamine molecules.
Tell Me More About Scentuelle Sex Patches
Frequently Asked Questions: Q. Can I use Scentuelle if I am pregnant or breast-feeding?

A. No, as nothing enters the bloodstream.
Q. Can I wear it in the bath / shower / swimming?
A. Yes, but a new patch must be applied after contact with water.
Q. Will I become immune to it?
A. No, but you may consciously stop smelling the scent, this will not reduce its affects.
Q. Will it work with women of all ages?
A. Yes, the level of the formulation is sufficient for women of all ages including post-menopausal women (who may have a diminished sense of smell).
Q. Does Scentuelle work only on sexual desire?
A. Scentuelle will also give a relaxing feeling.
Q. What happens if I do not like the scent?
A. Most people like the scent, however a dislike for the scent will not effect its ability to work.
Q. Will my perfume etc interfere with Scentuelle?
A. Your perfume will not interfere, as long as it is not worn on the same wrist as the patch.
Q. Can you overdose on Scentuelle?
A. No.
Q. What does the pharmaceutical industry think of Scentuelle?
A. Traditionally the pharmaceutical industry has focussed on drugs and ignored the potential offered by the sense of smell. CST Medical Ltd recognised the commercial opportunity that exists in this area.
Q. Where is it made?
A. The formulation was developed in Scotland and the product is manufactured in the U.S, utilising the most advanced patch technology available today. Q. Could there be some version for men who have ’lost interest but not lost action’ ?
A. Yes, this is included in the future development programme.
Q. Why does it work on women only?
A. It does not only work on women. However the product was developed in response to a problem experienced by a large number of women.
Q. Is Scentuelle addictive?
A. No.
Q. Can you smell dopamine?
A. No. Dopamine molecules are too heavy to smell.
Q. Is the scent natural?
A. No, but it does contain some natural ingredients, including natural oils.
Q. Will there be newer or improved versions in the future?
A. CST Medical are actively searching to increase the family of proprietary dopamine aroma molecules
Q. How do you know it works?
A. We know that dopamine is successful in the treatment of lack of sexual desire due to the trials carried out by Lilly on libido and dopamine. Although the trial results were very positive, the drug caused side-effects and was never launched. Scentuelle is a non-drug solution, using the same science.
Q. What trials have been done?
A. Trials are ongoing
Q. How long will I have to wear the patch before feeling the effects?
A. The patch will begin to work immediately, however the effect is cumulative, building to an optimum level after three weeks.
Q. Why is it worn as a patch?
A. Scentuelle must be worn as a localised patch primarily as this is a personal experience, and does not broadcast a signal to others around you. It is also a great visual reminder and retains the intensity of the scent.
Q. What are the key elements (molecules) in Scentuelle?
A. Scentuelle contains a family of hundreds of molecules that mimic the effects of dopamine.
For instance Carnation which has historically formed the basis for erotic French perfumes.
Q. What is the (scientific) thinking behind Scenuelle?
A. CST Medical Ltd identified that dopamine is the key to desire/libido and have developed a non-drug approach based on a formulation which mimics the effects of the dopamine molecule.
Q. Is Scentuelle just another perfume?
A. No, Scentuelle is a perfume formulation generated on scientific principles.
Q.Does Scentuelle contain pheromones?
A. No. Pheromones affect other people and the way they feel about you. Scentuelle is a privately controlled experience, which affects the way you feel about yourself.
Q. Is Scentuelle a drug?
A. No. Scentuelle is non-transdermal, i.e it does not enter the blood stream, making it perfectly safe with no known side-effects.
What The Press Say: The Times, 10th February 2005
Sniff your way to satisfaction by Dr Thomas Stuttaford.
The scientist Dr George Dodd....has been studying human nature and the physical influences that determine our behaviour. He has examined the olfactory system that controls the sense of smell and has made the effect of smell on human libido - sexual desire - his special subject.
He has developed a scent called Scentuelle which contains hundreds of odiferous molecules that mimic the effect of the brain chemical dopamine. It is generally accepted that there is an association between scents and mood, and that dopamine levels influence sexual drive. This effect was obvious to doctors when levodopa, a precursor of dopamine, was first used as replacement therapy in Parkinson’s disease. Later, one pharmaceutical company carried out investigations into dopamine as an aid to loss of libido but was unable to overcome the difficulties caused by adverse side-effects.
These are not a problem with Scentuelle, which reaches the brain through the olfactory system rather than via the bloodstream: the smell-carrying molecules pass through the olfactory epithelium and along the olfactory nerves to the olfactory bulb and the smell receptors, which make contact with the limbic system in the brain without entering the bloodstream, so there is no possibility of side-effects.
Dr Dodd claims that if women regularly sniff a patch impregnated with a solution of Scentuelle it will work wonders for those who suffer from a lack of sexual desire. Scentuelle is not a pheromone (these are the substances released subconsciously by the sweat glands of one person or animal to attract another). But just as dopamine is produced by the patient and acts on her own system, when a woman sniffs the impregnated Scentuelle patch on her wrist she is likewise helping to stimulate her sex drive.
It is said that the patch begins to work from the first sniff but that the effect is cumulative, reaching optimum level only after two weeks. The patch, which is almost invisible, should be sniffed every hour. It may be getting too late for a patch fully to influence the course of a Valentine’s dinner but it still offers a better bet than oysters.
NEW WOMAN - "Sniff your way to better sex" by Daure Dempster, 16 February 2005
Daure Dempster says: "If your sex life has taken a nose dive, worry not, there could be help at hand in the form of a new scented patch that promises to rev up your libido and sauce up your sex life with just a few sniffs.
The patch, named Scentuelle, is said to work by mimicking the effects of the ‘feel good’ chemical dopamine in the brain, which then stimulates sexual desire. Experts say that the patch could make an ‘enormous difference’ to the sex lives of women.
The Scentuelle patch is worn on the wrist and you need to sniff it every hour to make sure the brain receives a regular hit of the scent, the more you sniff the better it works!
The libido-boosting patch needs to be changed every 24 hours and is said to have a cumulative effect with results being seen two to three weeks after the first sniff."
Daily Mail 8th December 2005
Daily Mail tester Rachael says: "A few days later, we went out for dinner with some friends and a girlfriend spotted me sniffing my wrist. When I owned up, all the women immediately wanted one.
We spent the rest of the evening giggling as we got our men to sniff the patches, too, putting them in increasingly obscure places.
By the end of the evening, everyone agreed they felt in the mood for love, but whether it was the patch that had done it or the fact we were just having a giggle with our partners was hard to say.
Wearing the patches definitely did something to my libido. My boyfriend wants me to stop using it for a week while he recovers."
Mail on Sunday 18th June 2006
"Tommy and I had been together for three years when Thomas was born. We'd always enjoyed our sex life, but it soon went out of the window. I read about Scentuelle in a magazine and gave it a try. You wear a patch on your wrist changing it every day and sniff it when you can. After a couple of weeks things improved and our sexual relations are back to normal again now!"
